        Who is eligible?

To qualify for the program, homeowners may earn up to $95,300 a year for a family of four, or 120% of the area’s median annual income of $79,400 .  See table below for income limits by household size.

For households that earn less than 80% of the area’s median income (or $59,200 for a family of four), an 80% matching grant is available. For example, on a $1,000 project, the homeowner would pay $200 and the Redevelopment Agency would pay $800.

For households making more than 80% of the area’s median income up to the maximum in the chart below, a 50% matching grant is available, meaning the Redevelopment Agency will cover half the cost of the improvements.  For example, on a $1,000 project, the homeowner would pay $500 and the Redevelopment Agency would pay $500.
